That's me in Venice. Always have enjoyed being there.
Part of my Narrative Image making module in Level 3 Diploma in Art and Design. Out of the available titles, I went for Medieval England. Inspirations for this project included the Bayeux Tapestry and illuminated manuscripts.
Side view of a design I was to construct for 'Design to Product' in Level 3 BTEC Art and Design. The patterns were inspired by two sides of Piet Mondrian's painting style, his naturalistic style and his 'De Stijl.'
Front of the Mondrian hideaway has cubist-style lining in keeping with his minimalism. Mondrian's wistfully naturalistic lining was channeled into the sloping roof and banisters of the stairway.
One of my pastimes is drawing my own comics. This one is GI Joe based. To draw the Baroness, I referred to Catwoman from classic 1990s comic books I had collected.

When painting my Mondrian-inspired hideaway for 'Design to Product,' I chose to pattern it using watercolours, which I always placed my faith in since 6th form.
A poster for some fan art and fiction of mine.
